About Saamy
A consultant in Caldwell’s Vancouver office, Saamy has successfully conducted searches in a wide array of sectors and functions. From executive leadership, finance, operations, business development, marketing/communications, human resources, and IT, his mandates have been largely international in scope. Saamy prides himself on his ability to build strong rapport with clients and candidates alike, and his tenacity to successfully complete searches.
Experience
Prior to joining Caldwell, Saamy worked for another international executive search firm where he recruited senior executives in a wide range of industries from small non-profits to large, complex privately-traded and public sector entities. Born in Calgary and raised in Vancouver, Saamy travelled extensively prior to his career in search, having worked in both Bangladesh and Switzerland, where he spent two years working in international football as part of the UEFA EURO 2012 project management team.
Education
Graduating honours with distinction from the University of Victoria, Saamy received his Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology before obtaining his Master of Science degree in global management from the London School of Economics and Political Science in London, England.
