About Meaghan
Meaghan Loughry is a consultant in Caldwell’s Toronto office and a member of the firm’s Professional Services Practice, focused on recruiting lawyers in all practice areas. A lawyer herself, Meaghan combines her passion for people, firsthand understanding of the practice of law, and knowledge of the legal market to make a positive difference in lawyers’ lives.
Experience
An empathetic and detail-oriented recruiter with natural people skills and interpersonal insight, Meaghan takes a long-term view of client-candidate relationships, striving to create a “win-win” situation for both parties by developing an accurate understanding of their needs and motivations.
Meaghan is passionate about helping lawyers reach personal and professional success. She has experience in both private practice and in-house environments, having practised at a highly regarded global law firm and a leading Canadian professional services firm.
Meaghan works closely with legal departments and law firms, which provides her with a unique perspective of the legal market and recruitment search process and ultimately ensures both clients and candidates achieve their goals.
Education
Meaghan holds a BA in global development and environmental science from Queen’s University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario.
