About Laura
Laura Piche is a consultant in the Toronto office and a member of the Professional Services Practice. With an extensive background that encompasses both executive search firm experience and in-house talent acquisition roles, she has a unique and comprehensive perspective on the search process from both sides of the table.
Laura focuses on the identification and attraction of top-caliber candidates for C-suite and other senior level executive search remits in professional services, with particular expertise in global, Am Law 100 and rapidly expanding law firms.
Experience
With 18 years of recruiting experience, Laura has worked on executive-level mandates for public and private companies of various sizes across consumer-packaged goods, financial services, and industrial sectors, as well as for private equity and venture capital firms.
Laura joined Caldwell from JMP Solutions, a consulting firm providing engineering services and turnkey solutions to Fortune 1000 manufacturers, where she led the talent function. Previously she led the development and implementation of global talent acquisition programs for StarTech.com, a privately owned technology company with operations in 26 countries around the world. Prior to that she led full-cycle searches at a boutique executive search firm focusing on VP to C-suite roles across sport & entertainment, retail, media, consumer goods, telecom and broader consumer-oriented industries.
She began her executive search career at Caldwell, supporting full-cycle executive level searches across a wide range of industry sectors.
Education
Laura received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theatre performance in a joint program between the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and New School University in New York.
